I help small business owners find the money they didn’t know they were losing, build the systems that keep it from leaking out again, and write books for the people doing real work in real companies.
Different formats, same job. Helping owners keep more of what their businesses are already producing.
Caboodle Media has been working with small and mid-market businesses since 2005. Marketing, technology, and design under one roof, with an eight-year average client retention because we actually deliver and we don’t lock anyone into long contracts.
Dash Dolphin is what we built after fifteen years of solving the same lead-response problem by hand for clients. It turns a website form submission into a text on the owner’s phone in seconds. No developer. No AI replying to your customers. Just speed.
Two so far. The Leak Detector is for business owners trying to find where the profit is actually going. Unlearning Christian Nationalism is a different kind of book for a different kind of reader, and you’ll find both below.
Most small businesses are leaking somewhere between 15 and 40 percent of the revenue they should be making. Not to competitors. Not to the economy. To leaks inside their own operations. This book walks through thirteen of them, what each one is costing you in real dollars, and how to plug it.
My first book. A personal account of growing up inside American Christianity, watching it merge with nationalist politics, and the long process of separating faith from flag. Written for people of faith who feel something has gone wrong and want a clear-eyed way to talk about it.
I have spent more than two decades inside other people’s businesses, mostly the small and mid-sized kind that everyone else flies over. Garage door companies. Law firms. Manufacturers. Landscapers. Roofers. Family businesses that figured out how to do one thing well and then ran into the harder problem of keeping all the money they were making.
I founded Caboodle Media in 2005 and serve as its president. We are based in Little Rock, Arkansas, and our clients are scattered across the country. Our average client has been with us for eight years, which is mostly because we operate on three-month, month-to-month commitments and just keep delivering. If we ever stop delivering, our clients are free to leave the next month. That keeps everyone honest.
The books are an extension of the same work. The Leak Detector is the version of what I wish somebody had handed me when I started doing this. Unlearning Christian Nationalism is a different conversation entirely, and I think both can be true at once.
I live in Little Rock with my wife and four children.
